Pastor D. Mohn is a graduate of Metro St. Community College and Augsburg College (both of Minneapolis), as well as Luther Seminary (St. Paul). He has served in both rural and urban congregations in southern Minnesota, and as a staff member for an ELCA Campus Ministry. His tenure at Holy Nativity began on October 1, 1995.
A native of Minnesota, Pastor Mohn has also lived in Washington state and California. He is the father of two adult artistic daughters, has served in a variety of church committees and programs, and has a long term commitment to working with and for the Oglala Lakota People on the Pine Ridge Reservation in western South Dakota.

Pastor J. Wahlstrom earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and his Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. Upon graduation he served as pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Lake Benton, MN (2001-2004). In 2004 he accepted a call to Resurrection Lutheran Church in Blaine, MN where he served until the church's closing in December 2007. Since January 2008 he has been serving as Associate Pastor at Holy Nativity. Pastor Wahlstrom also serves as Co-Chair of the Minneapolis Area Synod Leadership Table, and is a member of the Minneapolis Area Synod Council.

Iver Hubert

Holy Nativity’s Director of Music, Iver Hubert, graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a Bachelor’s degree emphasizing in choral conducting and composition. While there, he studied conducting and composition with Dr. René Clausen and Dr. Daniel Moe, and voice with David Hamilton.
As an accomplished chorister, Iver has sung under the direction of Michael Smith in the Brainerd High School A Cappella Choir, Dr. Rene Clausen in the Concordia Choir, Phillip Brunelle in The Plymouth Music Series (now currently Vocal Essence), and recorded and toured nationally with all three groups.
As Holy Nativity’s Director of Music, Iver's duties include directing the Nativity Choir, planning worship services (including hymn selection), and arranging for special music/musicians and music events throughout the year.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, and her Bachelor of Music degree (emphasis in Organ Performance) from the University of Wisconsin - Superior. Her organ teachers were Dr. Justin Rubin (UMD) and Dr. Norma Stevlingson (UWS). She also completed a Web Design Certificate at Century College (White Bear Lake, MN) in 2008. Lisa has served Holy Nativity as Organist/Accompanist since 2004, and Administrative Assistant (part-time) since 2006. Her roles at Holy Nativity include accompanying worship on piano, synthesizer and organ, accompanying the Nativity Choir, assisting in the church office and maintaining/updating the church website.

Joanne received her Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, and has done further study at The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. She began working at Holy Nativity in 2001 as a part-time administrative assistant, and now as Coordinator of Parish Life, her role is to connect members/friends of Holy Nativity to a variety of programs, events and opportunities to serve. One of her favorite quotations: “Preach the Gospel at all times; if necessary, use words.”

Kari received her BA in Theatre Arts from Southwest State University and her MA in Theatrical Stage Management from Purdue University. She began teaching and assisting with the Sunday School program in 2000, and in 2004 she became Holy Nativity’s Sunday School/VBS Coordinator. In 2007, Kari became the Christian Education Coordinator, assisting with the development and coordination of all Education at Holy Nativity, including Sunday Forum, Youth Forum, Confirmation, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School, as well as special workshops and youth events.

Judy is employed full time in the accounting office at Select Communications, and has been doing the financial records at Holy Nativity for nearly 20 years. She is the mother of 4 adult children and grandmother to 6 grandchildren.
Wedding & Nursery Coordinator

Linda has been the Nursery Coordinator since 2003.
Her presence in the nursery every Sunday morning September
through May allows the children to be comfortable with
a familiar person each week. As the Wedding Coordinator since 2004, Linda is available to assist in the planning beforehand, at the
rehearsal, and the entire day of the wedding to ensure that
everything runs smoothly. Kids and weddings -- what could be more fun!!!

Sunday Worship Times
8:30 & 10:30am
Holy Communion is celebrated the first and third Sundays of each month.
Child care is available during the 9:30 Education Hour and the 10:30 service.
From September to May, Sunday school meets at 9:30 – children meet in the Sunday School music room. During this time, a Sunday forum (open to all) is offered in the sanctuary, and a Youth forum (for any/all Junior-Senior High youth) is offered in the Annex.
